What has and will overcome this world; our faith.

We are told this right here in scripture. But so often Christians go through life feeling defeated.

I know how this feels. As I begin a new job today, my prayer has been that I thrive and not just survive. This has been my prayer for some time now.

Life is more than survival.

We, especially as Christians, are to live a victorious life. The game is won, the price is paid and we have eternity to look forward to. Yes, a little pain now in this lifetime which will be exchanged for an eternity with Christ, living in heavenly perfection.

So why is it so hard to get by while we are here at times?

As has been mentioned to me of late a few times; there is no testimony without a test. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

This life is our test and how we live it is our testimony.

So you can go out today defeated, or you can go out victorious. Live a life where you thrive.
