38 Establish Your word to Your servant, As that which produces reverence for You. (Psalm 119:38)

To often we are focused on ourselves. We spend our waking hours considering how we are doing and maybe, just maybe, we spend a little time focused on what God is doing.

And make no mistake, He is always doing something.

Because we are so focused upon ourselves we can slip into this belief that there is us and there is everything else. We are apart, not a part.

God wants us to be set apart, while we are being a part.

It’s easy to get lost in the aparts.

But when we are established in God’s word, we have a reverence for God that allows us to be a part of His creation and still be separate. We are able to take His Word and rise above that which we may be mired in. Even in a dry land we can be living water to others.

We are meant to remain established in God’s Word.
