Do you think God hears you?

Do you ever watch after you pray to see what God will do or do you just move forward with whatever you believe is the right plan?

We may come to believe that God does not hear us, so we strike out on our own to make things happen. This gives God little time and space to work in our lives. In fact it may require that God sprint ahead of us to fulfill prayers. But I do not believe God is a sprinter. Why would you need to be when you know every outcome. No, God is a planner who already knows the various paths we might take and has prepared the way ahead.

Reflect on: Just how much you listen for God’s voice and watch for God’s leading in your life. Are you doing this or is it you that is sprinting ahead?
