Vocationally, I am a Writer, Chaplain, Motorcyclist, Mountain Biker and Shade Tree Wrench/Mechanic.

While my journeys have not been broad, they have introduced me to many on the road who a just looking for something. They ask the age old question, “Is this all there is to life?” and I do my best to answer them with an affirmative and resounding;

NO, not by a long shot!

We are strangers here and as such we feel a void and a need to seek new experience and destinations. I do not have all the answers, but I do know one thing; What you seek is within your grasp and it stands knocking on the door of your heart.

I co-founded BikerChaplain.com back in early 2000. While we use this mechanism to train others to be Volunteer Chaplains it is truly a Ministry of Presence. Being there with people when they need.

So, I thought I would share some notes on my journey and maybe reach a few other people along the way. I write these daily devotions as much for me as I do for anyone else, probably more.

God found me and has been shaping me, but I am still the “chief among sinners.” So never read this as if I have all the answers. Nothing could be further from the truth. No, I, like you am a seeker. I simply took the Road not Take, and that made all the difference in life.

I hope to see you on the road of life.
