Conclusion of the Matter

13 When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: fear God and keep his commands, because this is for all[a]humanity. (Ecclesiastes 12:13 CSB)

The Bible is one of the most read books in history. It has endured through the ages and stands alone in many aspects of both the written word and theology in general.

Plumbing it’s great depths of knowledge can be a lifetime affair. Many of the passages can have different meanings and impart different knowledge to us depending upon where we are in life. It is a wealth of never-ending wisdom.

Some believe that it is but a volume of good meaning stories and nothing more. But the depths of eternity are housed in the pages. Within is the secret of our salvation that could not be more simply stated and easily understood.

Yes, there are great mysteries within the Bible. However, the conclusion of the matter is very straight forward and a message for everyone. Belief in Christ and his redeeming blood is the only way to eternity.
