8 But in the past, since you didn’t know God, you were enslaved to things[a] that by nature are not gods. 9 But now, since you know God, or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elements?Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again? (Galatians 4:8-9 CSB)
Consider, on this Easter morning, that through Christ blood all things were made new.
We have an opportunity to begin today anew and pattern our lives after the one who sacrificed all. Why would we go back to our lives before? Why not move only forward and see what God has in store for our us.
Turning back will only bring us more of what we have and there is typically no room we leave for God’s newness. Why then would we not look for positive change and open ourselves for what God has in store.
Let us take today to allow the change God has planed for you and I.
