1 I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me;
I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that was not called by[a] my name. (Isaiah 65:1 ESV)
When we did not deserve it, God sought after us.
When we were not ready to be found, He found us.
You see, God seeks after His creation and desires to have a personal relationship with each of us. Even though we may not be looking for that relationship, He continually is. His desire is that we begin to know Him as intimately as He knows us. In doing so that we seek our Heavenly Father first in everything.
In this way, we can know that He is involved in even the smallest aspect of our lives. It may not always seem so, but He is there. And once we believe the Spirit is given to us so that He resides in us and through Him we might find Him in all of our life. For without Him we are nothing.
Reflect on: How God seeks you in the moments of your life.
