How far is the east from the west?

Well, it is in fact endless. No matter how far you travel, the east is always just that far from the west. So how far did Christ death on the cross remove us from our transgressions?

God impressed upon the writers of the Bible the use metaphorical language like this to make our minds do a little work. Many places in the Bible use story and metaphor to illustrate some truth or promise. In today’s scripture, God wanted to know that Christ sacrifice removed our sins completely.

God’s love for us was so complete that He made sure that we knew how great the removal was. Too often we think our sin’s hover around us, leaving us tainted and making us creatures unworthy of forgiveness. This is the enemy causing us to doubt God’s word, His truth, His plan and His promise.
