¹⁸ as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 ESV)

We would always prefer to follow God through His clear and unwavering insight. However, more often than not, we are following what we believe is His path for us, even though we do not see it clearly.

Of course we would prefer to see and understand God in a way that confirms His message and plan for us. We can be clear on one message, and that is His message of salvation. Written in His Son’s blood for us all to see and understand clearly. However, day to day clarity may be less so evident.

However, as our scripture says, “things that are seen are transient, but the things unseen are eternal.” That is a pretty clear message about how God speaks to us. He does so through the less evident aspects of our lives.

Reflect on: Christ clear message of salvation and ask for the Spirit’s guidance in the less evident.
