¹⁷ ‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. (Jeremiah 32:17 ESV)

We may face hardships in this life. That is just the way of our fallen world. Death and decay are a hallmark of the earth today. But one day that will end and Christ will come back with a new heaven and a new earth, one we cannot imagine with earthly eyes, an earthly mind and earthly spirit.

When life gets hard we have to remember that nothings too hard for God. He, literally, has the whole world in His hands. He will not let the elect fall into hardship that is beyond His control. Oh, in the belly of the storm it may feel like God has no control. But make no mistake, He does!
