30 But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” 31 Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.” (Numbers 13:30-31 ESV)
Do you ever get a direction from God and look at what it will take to do what God is leading you to and just say, nope.
That is what the Israelites were doing. They had been promised the the land before them, but only 2 of the 10 scouts sent came back trusting God to deliver the land into their hands. The other 8 decided the people looked too strong and there was no way they could take this new land from these people.
Know this, if God sets you to a task or promises you something, He has already overcome any obstacle that would keep you from it. This is a point where our faith must overcome our fears. God will make a way through, over or around anything that gets in your way. But He first ask you to have faith and believe.
