We cannot, having all heard, read and used this piece of scripture so much, let it lose even an ounce of its importance. Many scriptures, actually all of the Bible in its way, speaks to God’s love, Christ sacrifice and the Spirits movement with mankind.
For God so loved the world. It is His creation, and all that is in it is here based on His laws. Yes, there is much that the enemy has domain over, but in the end it is God who allows what He will allow. This may seem harsh to some who have suffered, but God’s wisdom is far above ours and we may not understand His greater plan on this side of heaven.
You see, God’s plan encompasses the fullness of time, but is not constrained by time. Something we see as senseless now may have a profound impact many, many years from now. It could be that the ripple you begin now, in the fullness of God’s plan, could move complete generations in the future. We simply do not know.
But, regardless, it all starts with God so loved the world.
