7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” (Isaiah 52:7 NKJV)
Getting into too much of a routine with our ministry to others can make it feel like we are doing little good. This is why it is important to breathe life into a long-term ministry by doing different things. No matter what we do in this life, doing it repetitively day after day with no change will ultimately begin to feel old and stale.
We need to always look to today’s scripture and be built up and excited about the work we do for the Lord no matter how mundane. The fruits of a faithful walk should be manifest in joy and a desire to do more. If they are not we need to take stock of what we are doing and change it up a bit. Breathe so me excitement into what we do for God and thank Him for the opportunity.
I believe many divine appointments can be missed if we are in a funk in carrying out our daily ministry. And make no mistake, it is a daily endeavor. If we are only thinking about ministry only on Sunday we are not taking our God given roles seriously. Our scripture today speaks of continually bringing glad tidings of good things. Speaking regularly about how “Our God reigns!”
Do you need, today, to infuse some excitement into your ministry? You may need to do the same with other aspects of your life as well.
