20 Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us— (Ephesians 3:20 CSB)

We make our little plans, and God laughs.

Why do we tend to think small? God surely does not, because He is able to do above and beyond all we ask or think according to the power that works in us.

I stated that again because you and I need to hear it multiple times and in every way imaginable. We need to especially focus upon the latter part of that scripture to the power that works in us.

You see we are not alone in the plans God has for us. No, He is there every step of the way and is paving the path ahead in ways we cannot imagine. This does not mean we sit back and do nothing, it means that we move ahead in faith and see where God takes us.

Now many are afraid of even stepping on this path because it may mean that what God has in store is not what we desire. But our desires are small and God’s plans are big. Let me give an example. When I began writing these devotionals I had no real goal in mind. I simply felt compelled to begin doing so. I am now nearing the 1800 mark. That amazes me. I never began thinking I was going to do this every day for years, but now I knwo God has even more in store. I am just an instrument of something bigger.
