15 But the seed in the good ground—these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring, produce fruit. (Luke 815 CSB)
Are the seeds of scripture taking hold in your heart?
Is it fertile ground or is it covered with fallow that needs to be tilled?
Or is it simply hardened by the world and your ways in the world?
These are questions each of us need to delve deeply into to deeply understand.
In this world, our enemy wants nothing more than to make us hardened to God’s words, His gentleness and His desire for our lives.
This requires that we grasp hold of His Word and do not allow them to slip through our hands and dissipate from our thoughts. We hold on to them so that they endure and produce fruit.
Thus, as we plant God’s words in our heart they grow and provide us rich rewards.
