16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am alone and afflicted.
17 The distresses of my heart increase;[a]
bring me out of my sufferings.
18 Consider my affliction and trouble,
and forgive all my sins. (Psalm 25:16-18 CSB)

When we go through times fo great distress it is easy to spiral down into depression and allow ourselves to wallow in our current state. As we are afflicted and the distress of our heart increases, in our humanness we seek answers that may not exist.

But consider this; God is THROUGH every situation. Not around it, not over it, not under it, but through it. He prepares our way through what we are experiencing and works to bring us out the other side. He considers our afflictions and our trouble and he gives us grace for this very moment. His grace from the last moment is past and his grace for the next moment is to come.

Thus, we must learn to live through these situations one moment at a time. Thankful for the grace of the last, living this moment and how God is working right now and faithful in hope for the next. We often try to live in the moments when things will be better, but we are not assured of those moments, only this moment.

God is living with us in this moment, through whatever we are dealing with.
