10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice[a] for our sins. (1 John 4:10 CSB)
The next three days are about love and renewal.
Love, that God sent his one and only son to die for our sins.
Renewal, that God raised Jesus on the third day setting him (and us) from eternal death.
I like to look at the time between Good Friday and Easter Sunday as an opportunity to hit the reset button. To begin to live life in a new way, a fresh start as it were. Taking this time to reflect upon what I have done well and what I have not done well. Seeking forgiveness and repentance from my many sins and starting anew down the road God has set before me
Luckily, I know that God is a loving God who wants nothing more than our renewal, in Him through Christ. He too wants us to pause for a moment and reflect. Considering our lives past, present and future. Not so we may dwell on the mistakes we have made but to look forward and walk differently. So differently that people take notice.
Begin that renewal and a new walk today.
