7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, (Ephesians 1:7 ESV)
Do we ever really stop down for a moment and consider the riches of God’s grace?
This should require a bit of contemplation in regard to our lives. Are we living a life that reflects the grace we are living under? Do we give thanks each day for this and ask for the guidance to live an even better life?
Or are we simply going through the motions? Are we simply living the next day of our life no differently than the previous? A life in Christ is a life that is in constant change. It is a life that is in refinement. That or it is a life stagnating and not moving forward.
We may be experiencing great strides and growth in our relationships or our career, but without growth in our spiritual life these will be hollow. There is a hole we must continually fill with the riches of His grace. Not doing so will leave us empty, no matter how much we might have.
Forgive and be forgiven, release our trespasses and live in the redemption of His blood.
