Have you ever gone through a time where you think, “God, just lead me to level ground!”

I sure have! There have been times in my life where I felt like the ground was shifting beneath me. Times where the path forward was rocky and steep when I desired nothing but easy, level ground to walk on.

Life is rarely an easy and straight path. Much like when I ride my mountain bikes off on a new trail, I may not know what obstacles I will find. I know the ride will be exhilarating, but I know too I may come come with some new scrapes and bruises.

I think if we did have a life path that was always straight and easy we would end up bored. No one openly wants a life of turmoil, but so too we do not want a life of boredom. We must keep our focus upon the knowledge that God has us no matter what type of path He has set us upon.

We need to just be open to where the path takes us.
