³ For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. (1 Corinthians 10:3 ESV)

The war that is waged for our souls is not one of the flesh. Oh, we try to put it into fleshly terms because we are not necessarily comfortable considering things beyond the dimensions we know. But make no mistake, there is a war waging just beyond our senses.

So why do we think we can fight that war on fleshly terms!? We do so because we do not know how to do so any differently. We have not digested scripture enough to know that it is only through Christ and our prayers can we win this war. We must have supernatural support to fight what we cannot see.

The frightening thing today is that much of this spiritual war is becoming more and more evident in how society is changing. Evil is no longer trying to hide and work in the background.
