13 “Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour. (Matthew 25:11-13 CSB)
Does your life reflect that you know and are known by Christ?
If not, it is something to get right beginning this very moment.
There are numerous books I have read and shows I have seen that reflect the intimacy of Christ. Of the mercy, love and relationship He desires with every one of us. A relationship that seeks to supplant all others.
We cannot know when Christ will return. More so, we have no idea when our life will be asked of us and we will find ourselves before Him. Every second, every breath is a gift from God we are not owed, but we are allowed.
So, if you were to find yourself face to face with Christ in the next few moments what would the ending of the sentence from our scripture reveal, “Truly I tell you, ….”
We want to be known. We want Christ say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” But this cannot happen without us knowing and being known. Without accepting His mercy and grace. Without us being about the business God has put before us to bear fruit both within and without.
Truly I tell you.
