Where do you spend yours?

21 “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master’s joy.’ (Matthew 25:21 CSB)

There are three currencies we have available to us; Time, Talents and Treasure. I have written on these often. Even on the most minuscule scale we have only these three things to leverage throughout our lives. And of the three, while we cannot gain more time, what we do with it is probably the most important of the three.

I spent many years feel like I did not really have a spiritual gift. That my talents only lay within certain areas of business or mechanical endeavors. Then God got ahold of my hand and showed me what I did with my love of writing could be used for His glory even though I did not feel competent to do so.

We often find that God does not call us to things we are most competent at to use for His glory. In fact most often he wants people who are simply humble enough to be lead in this way. Then He provides the talent needed to fulfill His plan so we clearly realize that it is He who is at work.

So in all of this God provides the time and talent to fulfill His plans. Which leaves us with treasure. And we can look here to see truly what is most important to us. For it is where we spend our treasures of money, time and talent that truly define us.
