1 O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. (Psalm 63:1 NKJV)
”Choose fellowship with God daily, and walk with Him.”
We have a choice to make each moment of each day. Will we walk with God or are we willing to walk by ourselves?
God does not force us to walk with Him. He is always there, but He chooses to allow us to call upon Him rather than forcing His will upon our lives. Thus, we can easily stray away from God and find ourselves walking alone in a dry and thirsty land.
Free will is a double edged sword. While it allows us to make our own choices, it does not free us from the consequences of those choices. For good or bad, we live with the choices we make. When we begin our day asking God to walk with us and focusing on walking with Him, we are making a choice to have Him involved in everything. We are not saying, “stay with me in this situation, but I will take care of this other situation.” No, we are choosing to walk with him in every moment of our lives.
Reflect on: Your daily walk. Are you choosing to give every moment to the God that loves you and wants the best for you?
The Daily: Walk Daily With Him
