¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, (Ephesians 1:17 NKJV)

”Seek to know Him better each day, so that each day is a success because I tried to know Him better.”

The Bible provides us a wealth of knowledge about God. Thus, we need to seek daily to know Him better both by reading the scriptures and by observing His hand in the world around us. We can get so caught up in life that we do not do the latter. We may take time to read scripture but we do not look for the obvious signs of God at work all around us. Yes, it is wonderful to see Him work in our lives, but do we watch for His hand in others lives? Do we look for him in the wonders of nature around us or do we stay cocooned in our homes and businesses too much to experience God in the world?

I spent many wonderful years doing ministry from the back of a motorcycle. I look back on those years fondly now because I got to experience God both in the mission He had me on and in the nature I experienced while riding. The two coupled together were one of the most enriching experiences of my life.
