19 For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:19 CSB)
What can one man do?
Throughout history we have seen the impact that can be made by one man or woman. Yet we continually underestimate our capability to have any impact at all.
I have said many times that we sell ourselves short. We point to a lack of time, talent or treasure to allow us to make an impact. But God did not make us to bear no fruit. In fact, it could be that bearing no fruit is just as negative as bearing bad fruit.
No, we were meant for good. We were meant to have an impact. And if that impact is upon only our family or we help bring only one person to Christ then we are doing God’s will.
In our scripture we see the potential impact of one. One man brought sin into the world and one man took that sin away.
Whether at home, at work or within the world, never underestimate the power of one.
