12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless before this vast number that comes to fight against us. We do not know what to do, but we look to you. (2 Chronicles 20:12 CSB)
Have you ever been in a situation where people look to you for answers? If you have had any form of leadership role you probably have. At times even strong leaders look at a situation and rely upon the input of others to make critical decisions.
These are times where wisdom wins out over knowledge. The wisdom to potentially make decision that fly in the face of conventional knowledge.
When we have times in our lives where we feel besieged by forces we cannot control or manage, we need to look wholly to God. We need to say, we do not have the wisdom or knowledge to manage this situation. We must lay the situation down at God’s feet and simply breathe a prayer of thanks knowing He will work it to His right outcome.
Total trust in these times is needed. An absolute knowledge that God will act. An absolute wisdom in knowing that God will act in our best interest even if we cannot see that outcome.
And we must pray.
When we look to God for answers, we must be ardent in prayers of thanksgiving for the outcome we have faith will come.
