Outside the Tangible

3 For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, (2 Corinthians 10:3 CSB)

Far too often we approach life purely in a physical sense.

Understandably, we like to deal with things in a tangible manner. However, so much about our lives are outside of the tangible world.

In our modern world, even within the church, talk of the spiritual realm outside of simply belief in the Spirit makes people uncomfortable. They may submit to the fact that there is another heavenly realm, but that may not extend to belief in other spiritual beings or non-physical powers.

Yet, so much outside our tangible word impacts our lives. Surely prayer and it’s effect can be felt tangibly at times. Yet, we may not accept that there are darker forces at work.

When we begin to accept things beyond the tangile world we do not lose any grip upon the tangible. No, we actually begin to have power over the things we cannot see, nor control by leaning more heavily upon the One who does have such control.

It is best for us to accept and pray for help against things outside the tangible.
