⁶ And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. (Genesis 11:6 NKJV)

During the time when mankind desired to build a tower to heaven (the tower of Babble) the Lord confused their language to slow their progress. I wonder if we are again in a time where the Lord needs to confuse our language. We are advancing so quickly and with the advent of AI that is just becoming exponential from a technology standpoint.

Scripture does not say that God will do this, but I wonder if all this advancement is really good for us. Working in the information technology industry as long as I have, I have truly experienced some phenomenal advancements. Without completely dating myself I can say that I have watched technology during its golden age, and I say this with some trepidation as to what is to come.

We are hearing about wars and rumors of wars, and there are many things pointing toward Jesus coming again. But only God knows that timing and while we may feel it is soon, it still may be far off. But, none the less, the stage is set.
