13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And he has authority here from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.” (Acts 9:13-14 CSB)
Right now, in America, it is pretty safe to talk about our faith. But there will come a time when it will not be, and that time may be fast approaching. We are seeing the signs of how quickly we are moving toward this age. America has moved from a God fearing and God honoring nation to one of cancelling that which others do not agree with. We no longer uphold basic tenants of biological life. We truly have traded truth for a lie.
But we, as believers, will be and are called to speak a different message. Many may call it intolerant, but how can things like basic biology be considered intolerant. How can the truth we know in scripture be traded for a lie within our lives. If we fall, there will be no truth at all. And yes, I am speaking boldly about the truth of scripture and the truth of biology. Both created by a Father God and creator not invented by man or some Big Bang.
Like Ananias, we may be called to go to the very ones convicting us and speak truth. We can only hope that the scales will fall from their eyes and they can see.
