A Positive Force

10 While he was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came to eat with Jesus and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” (Matthew 9:10-11 CSB)

I, pretty much, grew up in one church or another. I have worked a lot of places. I have traveled. I have mingled with saints and sinners. I have gone places others would not want or fear to go.

With all of this there has been a constant flow of people in, out and around my life.

Every one of them, even the saints, were sinners.

My dad instilled in me a deep understanding that I was no better, nor worse than any person I met. Christ instilled in me that every person was worthy of His love and salvation.

We have an opportunity each day to interact with so may people who, more often than not, just need a smile and a good word.

The Lord puts divine appointments in our path to be sure, but too He provides us the chance to simply interact in a Christ like way every day. It could be that you or I provide the only positive input someone experiences all day.

Never underestimate your power to be a positive force every day.
