14 If you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father’s family will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.” (Ester 4:14 CSB)
Like everything of God, his timing is perfect.
We, in human weakness, are always looking for just the right time. But, typically, for us just the right time is always right now. As everything speeds up, there is no slowing down for us. Everything must happen immediately.
But with God everything has its time. In many places throughout the Bible there are long periods of waiting. Jesus in the desert for 40 days, the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, Noah on a boat full of every kind of animal waiting for the flood waters to recede. God’s timing is very often time spent waiting.
Like in our scripture, God’s timing is perfect and always set fo just such a time as this.
While we cannot get things fast enough, God sets in motion events and happenings to coincide with His plans not ours. As such we can rest assured that when things happen in God’s time and within God’s plan nothing on earth or in heaven will get in the way.
We must but wait for such a time as this.
