²⁷ For those of you who were baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ. (Galatians 3:28 CSB)

I absolutely love how scripture is written to provide us visuals like today’s verse.

The beauty of how, when we came to Christ saving grace, we were clothed with Christ. We, in effect, put Him on.

However, do you ever feel that, like a piece of clothing, you take Him off at times?

Looking back over my life I feel like there have been times when I did and I am ashamed of myself for that.

While we are to be clothed with Christ, He should never be a garment we take off and put aside. Yet this is what we do when we willfully sin.

Christ is not cloak to be set aside at will.
