No Time Like Now

13 But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception. (Hebrews 3:13 CSB)

There is no time like the present.

An age old adage meaning that now is the best time for anything you have to do. This is especially true with encouragement of another.

I have spoken to so many who said, “If I only had one more moment with….”. Yet, there never seems to to be the right time to express all the sentiment we have like the moment someone is gone. I know I suffered this with both of my parents.

But even with others we meet on a daily basis, we can offer encouragement?

You never know just how close to the brink another may be. A simple word of encouragement can do so much to lighten a person’s load each day. Practicing saying something encouraging to each person we meet has another effect. It lifts us up by seeing the light in another’s eyes.

Encouraging words cost us nothing, but can pay great dividends. They are the battery that people can plug into to help bring light to their day.
