⁶ I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you^[a] will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 CSB)

God does not leave things unfinished. Thus, the work He began with us, He will fulfill in us.

Now, God does also give us free will. And it is easy to allow ourselves to fall into the trap of thinking that we are just not good enough or capable enough for God to do things through us. But God specializes in working through broken things.

Therefore, we can rest assured that if we will only accept and allow God to work with us, he will fulfill through us His good will. He will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

The true question is will we work jointly with God to carry out his plan? It will be fulfilled, no doubt. However, we an make a choice to come alongside God and work to His good will. Thus, fulfilling through us His plan more easily and without Him having to continually put sign post up for us.
