16 Avoid irreverent and empty speech, since those who engage in it will produce even more godlessness, 17 and their teaching will spread like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are among them. 18 They have departed from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and are ruining the faith of some. (2 Timothy 2:16-18 CSB)

I am not sure that this current age is one to be proud of. Yes, we are making some significant advancements, and technology is growing exponentially.

But at what cost?

We have greater access to information than we ever had. The knowledge of the world is literally at our fingertips. However, that much power in our hands may not be a good thing. Especially when it’s is fraught with so much disinformation.

All of this can cause people to faulted in their faith. It can lead them to questioning, possible dissolution, and in extreme cases questioning their faith alltogether.

We must drown out the clatter of the world around us and listen wholly to how God guilds us through the Holy Spirit and test everything through scripture.
