Who Am I?

11 But Moses asked God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11 CSB)

It may be easy for us to utter the words, “Who am I”, both form the exetential place of understanding our purpose in the world and from the place of understanding God’s role for us.

But “Who am I” too often really means “Don’t pick me, I don’t want to do that.”

You are keenly and uniquely made to fulfill God’s purpose in this life. The purpose He set out for you even before you were born.

And, luckily, God uses broken things. So you do not have to begin your journey by “becoming” anything. God will use you just like you are.

This is a good thing as none of us would qualify based on who we are. God will build us into what we must be because of who He is.
