²³ Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, (Colossians 3:23 ESV)

Do you grumble and drag through your work day? Do you do only what is needed and nothing more? Do you engage with others in your work place?

How we live and how we work should reflect Christ. If the totality of our lives is not invested in Christ and Christ in it, then we are missing what a true life of faith should be. We are missing out on His total blessings.

There has been such a stigma attached to doing or saying anything, especially at work, that might reflect Christian beliefs. And while we do need to be understanding of others beliefs and not beat them over the head with our Bibles, we can live Christ love and display it in the way we work. Last I checked there is no HR edict against respect, empathy, and a desire to help another. All of these show Christ love to others, and believe me, it makes us different and people notice.

We need to work heartily, as for the Lord, and our work for men will reflect this.
