16 Rejoice always, 17 pray constantly, 18 give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 CSB)

I always found it interesting that such a short sentence was broken into three scriptural verses. However, I should not be. The writers emphasis is highlited in the way the scripture is broken;

Rejoice always – not an easy task, but there is a path to how we can;

Pray constantly – through prayer and supplication we can rejoice in any circumstance.

Give thanks in everything – how? When things seem to be going wrong and we feel lost and alone. How? Because through it all we can know;

“for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – God is sovereign over every aspect of our lives.  RPG – Rejoice, Pray, Give thanks!
