We all have opportunities and decisions to make about who we choose to serve; ourselves or others.

When presented with an chance to give our time, talents and treasure to the betterment of others we are given a chance to love on people. We should not take this chance for granted or lightly. All the scripture points to the importance of our serving one another.

Yet, we so often see this as a freedom to do something for ourselves. To take more and give less. This is human nature, which we must fight.

Take the chance to serve rather than be served.
