2 When arrogance comes, disgrace follows,
but with humility comes wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the perversity of the treacherous destroys them. (Proverbs 11:2-3 CSB)

In our dealings in this life we have two paths we can chose to take; One of Humility and Integrity or one of Arrogance and Treachery.

This strong division may offend some who say “there are many shades of gray, and no absolutes”. However, ultimately we chose the positive or the negative and any gradient does not detract from the dark or light intention behind the act.

We may try to fool ourselves into believing in the gradient, but integrity guides.
