11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me ^[a]void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 NKJV)

Do you realize that you are a type of God’s word?

We can look upon our faith life like this. Our testimony is something that God has created. So, what He has built in us will not come back void. We go out into this world to continue to spread His Word and we are also a part of that Word.

You see, the testimony He built in our lives is a living part of His Word. You may say, but God has not done great works with me. Ok, but has He done great works IN you? Our testimony does not have to be some grandiose story, but can be simply that God has walked faithfully by us for many, many years. Even in that simple, but profound work, God shows that He will accomplish something in everyone’s life.

Reflect on: The simple or grand God has done in your life. Now, tell others about it. Be the living word that does not come back void.
