Have you ever gotten a message or direction from God that was so clear that you did not hesitate to do exactly what He moved you to do? These may not come often, but I have had a number of instances that were so clearly God speaking into my life that I simply followed without hesitation.

Trust me, I have had far more instances where my bad judgement lead me down another path. These times seemed clear but in hindsight were anything but. I followed my human nature and was not taking the time to listen for Gods direction. I was simply doing what I wanted to do. These I tended to rush head long into, regardless of the outcome.

Want to know the difference? The former worked out exactly like I expected, for the better. The latter, well the latter worked out exactly like you might expect them as well, and I am no better for them.

Reflect on: How God wants us to follow His path without delay, however, we tend to rush into only that which we want to do. God provides discernment in both cases if we only seek His will.
