¹⁸ Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, (2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV)

We may not well understand the ministry God gives to every believer. It first reconciles us to God through Jesus sacrifice, then we can bring this reconciliation to others through His message.

The first of that we may not truly grasp. We are reconciled to God through Christ, all of our sins forgiven, past, present and future. This does not give us a license to sin but gives us reconciliation when we do. It is a pathway to God afforded to every believer to cleans us.

Then we are offered to point the way for others to find reconciliation. Ours is not to bottle this up, but to pour it out on all who will hear the message. To display it in our lives, our attitudes and our words. We are set apart and in being set apart that separation should be manifest in our lives. We are no longer ruled by this world but we have overcome it through Christ.
