The Strength of Evidence and Belief

12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. (1 Corinthians 15:12-14 NKJV)

Christ death is considered to be one of the most well documented, throughly researched events in antiquity. Furthermore, His resurrection is believed to be one of the best attested events in antiquity. For us, as Christians, we can simply believe what the scriptures state and know that He is the way, the truth and the life.

As we round on Easter we should be giving thanks to God for not just His mercy and our salvation, but the trust we can have in Him. We need not wonder about His life and His love. Our Bibles tell us all we need to know and through prayer we can gain even more insights through the Spirit. We can preach His message boldly and without hesitation, because we know He is true. The crusification is true, His resurrection is true and the life He gives us eternal is true.

How do I know these things? Because I believe in Him that much!

Reflect on: The strength of your beliefs and where they come from.
