It seems like it is harder and hard to see goodness in the world. We are so disjointed and we have drawn lines against one another. More than ever I think that the world needs Jesus, as we seem to be losing our way more and more.

But we must not lose heart, because the goodness we are looking for can be found in the Lord. Even when there seems to be little around us, keeping our eyes fixed upon God can help us look beyond. To see His hand working in the small things so that we do not lose heart.

Even though God may seem absent, know He is here. Remember that this world is not the world God has planned for us. It is one that has the enemy’s hand all over it and one that God will redeem in the end. We must only be patient to see God working in our midst.

Reflect on: The goodness you do see and do not focus on all the bad that might surround us.
