7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7 NKJV)
We can look at this passage as one relegated to those nearing the end of life. Relegating it to a later time when we plan to live the life God set forward for us. But this is a lifetime verse. It reminds us to “fight the good fight”, “finish the race (strong)” and “keep the faith”.
These are all lifetime endeavors of the faith life that should be in the forefront of our minds daily so that we can finish each day strong. Faith lived daily, practicing the presence of Christ, is a faith that grows stronger daily. A strong faith is something that provides a resilience against the hardships of life as well. We no longer look at momentary issues and problems the same, we recognize them for what they are and the Spirit walks with us through everything.
Reflect on: How you are keeping faith in your life.
