Have you ever wondered if you have a guardian angel?

Well, our scripture this morning tells us that we do. It may be hard to believe at times, especially if things are going wrong or when we have accidents. However, while God says that His angel encamps around us, He makes a stipulation regarding those who fear Him.

I think this and one other area are where we are off in our reading or response to this scripture. You see, I do not think we harbor a healthy fear of the Lord. We want to see Him as a loving Father, and we should. But loving Fathers discipline, and it is the discipline we dislike. Furthermore, we forget that God will allow trials so that He can see us through them. This is for our growth and to teach us to rely upon Him fully. It is in these areas where we tend to fall down in our expectations of God.
