1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1 ESV)

There may be times when we feel unknown and rejected by the world. That is ok, especially if it is because of our Christian beliefs, values and actions. The world rejected Christ first and we should feel honored if we are being rejected for similar reasons.

Unfortunately, there are many other reasons people feel rejected by the world in general. Society has a habit of turning its back on anyone who is different, even if that difference comes in the way of Christ like behavior. We have gone through a period of cancel culture that has not always been for good reasons. In many ways it has become simply a way to press an agenda instead of society rejecting negative actions or behavior.

Learning to live a Christ like life may put us at odds with society as a whole. But make no mistake, we will be welcome in Heaven for the life we have lead.
