I was really wrapped up in life this week. From family drama to work drama, I spent little time focused upon either scripture or God. I almost wrote “I had little time” but the reality is that I “spent” little time. I did not carve time out for God like I should have and I ended the week feeling pretty down. I had to be reminded;
“…Christ is all, and in all.” (Colossians 3:11b ESV)
We have choices that we make with our time and when we put God at the back of that list our days can quickly get behind us. This is exactly what the enemy does, this is exactly what the world does. They create distractions and make us forget that in all we do, God has a hand. It is imperative that we keep this in mind. It is all about being mindful to practice the presence of Christ.
The other positive about this is that when we do we will find that things work out to His good plan, which is in our best interest.
Reflect on: Your week and God’s place in it.
