30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. (Matthew 10:30 ESV)
Granted, at my age, there are fewer needing to be counted, but I do not think we really think of God in this way. Read the scripture again and sit with it for a few moments.
We may use the word “omnipotent” or “omniscient”, but do we really internalize what that means. I mean what does it really matter that God has a count of the number of hairs on our head or cells in our body (yes, I expect He knows that too)? This is how intimately the Father knows you.
You are not hiding anything from Him, you are not slipping away from Him. He is there, we are here, and He knows everything, and I mean everything about us. Because, He is there, but He is here too in the the form of the Spirit within. How can a God who is our Father and cares for us like a father, but is also the Spirit who lives within not know everything about us.
That may be sobering, but know, still He cares.
He knows every little thing about us, and still He cares.
Reflect on: The fact that God knows all your little bad habits, everything about you and still He cares.
